Ohh this scratched a part of my brain. It’s lovely to witness your hobby in public. I often encounter friends who approach me with questions of being on the fence of things, especially in the context of relationships. I recently listened to Tamara Winter on the Dialectic pod quote something along the lines of: people with self respect know the cost of things. Your piece speaks to a lot of the advice I would like to give too
I always question with the people I’m dating and it didn’t end up well, was it just because I couldn’t fully be myself around them? Or could I not be myself around them because of some innate incompatibility? Or was it just sick little feedback loop where I started off by caring what they think of me and overthinking so that led to us being incompatible? I do not know
thank you I have an affinity for this
That end, omg, beautiful 🫶🏻

You read my mind and publish pieces about things I too have been thinking deeply about and so I love you
thank you...needed this
i really liked this one, the meta commentary on your relationship to work/life and recognizing affinity feels refreshing!
