I don't think you need to stress that much about quantity. I've been loving every post you've written so far. I've read all December and forward posts.
So I guess that, as far as you keep the quality and thoughtfulness you've put into the latest posts, any number is good. One or two a month would not be a problem. Three a week would not be a problem also. :)
1 a week is perfect.
Most people have crowded inboxes already and I'm a big believer of... quality > quantity.
I also enjoy the quotes you insert from other authors.
Reading your newsletter feels like a breath of fresh air compared to most newsletters that are 100% advice/ links
There's a conversational tone to it. Almost like a friend you haven't met up with in a while updating you on some cool things they came across.

i like one post per week, i carve a bit of time on the weekends to catch on reading on people's writing i enjoy

I haven’t turned on paid for my substack because then I’d have customers who paid for something I’d most likely overpromise and underdeliver.

I like the spontaneity -- that it can be either a 2 or a 5 post week makes it all the more fun
