Running your own events is underrated imo! Most of my friends here have come from this. Also much easier than you think

I think all of these apply well to NYC. I'd say the local pastry equivalent is the bagel.

reminds me of how miserable I am living in Phoenix and how much my old friends in the bay seem to be enjoying themselves even if it’s just a social media facade….
